Verdant Revel

Aidan and Elanor have long imagined their work living side by side. How might Aidan’s patchwork worlds and Elanor’s bedecked creatures meet one another? … the latter would seem to feel right at home wandering into Aidan’s realms of the repurposed and renewed, they would surely find trinkets and baubles they would want to add to their wardrobe… they might be found cradling the stalk of a “flower” without regarding it as any less wonderful for being made out of plastic. If they were rambling through the mossy forests or meandering city streets they would gather up oddments, making ornaments for their little homes. There is prospect in even the lowliest caste-off. Any object or even any artwork has within it the potential to become “trash” and also the possibility to be re-found, re-loved,  become someone’s new jewel.

Let’s gather up the pieces and find a way to adore every inch of every world we make.
